#3: What about solo-travellers?

While we did not come across too many self-professed solo travellers during our trip, we do think that cruise travel is still a great way to see the world. Solo travellers may find cruise travel either a challenge or an opportunity depending on what type of experience they seek. In our opinion however, this is down to personal preference.

HDYTI Tip: Solo travellers are a fast growing demographic in the cruising industry. In the past, ships only provided accommodation for two or more passengers and charged for accommodation based on a minimum of two room occupants. However, most new ships, across different cruise lines, are now providing accommodation for solo travellers and are charging accordingly.
