Puchero in Madrid, Spain | 10 Global Stops for the Foodie Traveller!

Cocido stew | Devour Madrid (via La Bola)
Madrid is more than a place for Flamenco and stunning architecture. It offers an incredible food culture scene. When visiting, we highly suggest a food tour with Devour Madrid.
On our tour, we experienced a behind the scenes look at the process of making Cocido broth; a savoury mix of beef, chicken, ham, chorizo, chickpeas and potatoes slow cooked for 4 to 6 hours in a traditional ceramic pot called pucheros.
It tasted like years of flavour had been waiting for us all within one small pot. La Bola on Calle la Bola is not to be missed!

Baharia Restaurant is located within the historical Serena Zanzibar Hotel, and it is a must visit on your exploration of Stone Town. We closed our eyes in appreciation just after one bite. It was that good! Another dish worth mentioning was the samaki wa kupaka (boneless fillet of sea fish simmered in coconut and Zanzibar spices). Conveniently located only a seven-minute walk from Forodhani Gardens, feast away at Baharia, and then head over to Forodhani for the sunset diving show by local boys.
