Grand Prize Giveaway for Pure Holiday in Pure Grenada

A pair of Virgin Atlantic World Traveller Tickets is up for grabs to visit Grenada! You and your plus one could win the trip of a lifetime to the spice island of Grenada. NOTE (updated 16 October): Except otherwise advised by the GTA, this giveaway is for flight tickets ONLY.

Grenada is an English-speaking Caribbean island famous for its vibrant and friendly people, unspoilt landscapes, spice plantations, organic chocolates, and fiery rum.

Grenada provides the perfect balance between adventure, relaxation, romance and culture for holidaymakers. Among many activities, you can go for a swim in the clear waters of Grand Anse Beach or go trekking through the rainforest of Grand Etang. Grenada is also home to the world’s first underwater sculpture park, a ‘must-see’ for visitors.

Did you know? Virgin Atlantic fly to Grenada twice a week – Monday and Friday. British Airways also fly to Grenada twice a week – Saturday and Wednesday (St Lucia touch down for both carriers).

Once the winner of the grand prize is announced, The Grenada Tourism Authority will provide the flight T&C’s.

Chocolate Making Class Giveaway for Pure Holiday in Pure Grenada

Did you know? For an island similar in size to the Isle of Wight, Grenada has five artisan chocolate makers. The quality of the beans grown means that all 100% of cacao grown on the island is full of flavour, a great tribute to the makers!

Here is another fine chocolate fact: Cocoa plants were introduced to Grenada in 1714 by the French. Today, chocolate bar flavours include nutmeg, ginger, sea salt and crunchy cocoa nibs.

One more fact: Grenada has a whole festival dedicated to chocolate! Sweet dreams are indeed made in Grenada.

Venue, dates and times for the chocolate-making class will be advised by the Grenada Tourism Authority.

Rum MasterClass Giveaway by Grenada Tourism Authority #PureGrenada

Did you know? The River Antoine Rum Distillery on the island of Grenada is one of the oldest distilleries in the world (they’ve been making Rivers Rum onsite since 1785). This distillery still uses an ancient water wheel to crush the sugarcane and is a popular stop for visitors to Grenada. It is a true time capsule and national treasure.

If you win this prize, you won’t be travelling to Grenada (unfortunately). However, we’ve got the next best thing here in London, a rum masterclass for two at Rum & Sugar near Canary Wharf.

Rum & Sugar is a buzzing bar and restaurant dedicated to the glory of rum, with an impressive selection of 100 rums (including Westerhall no.3 and Westerhall no.5 for those of you who know your rums).

Rum & Sugar brings to life an exciting menu featuring Caribbean dishes that promise to spice up even the dullest days.

Dates and times for this experience will be advised by the Grenada Tourism Authority.
