Plantains are a year round delight. They look like bananas, but don’t let their appearance fool you. They are a bit more dense, and are a fantastic vegetable to grill, bake, or fry! Our addiction to plantains is an understatement, so much that we’re always trying to create recipes with them for breakfast, lunch, and dinner! We’ve made these as kebabs and most recently as bite sized appetizers. They were a huge hit, and super delicious. Once you start, it’s hard to stop popping them in your mouth! These bites are also gluten & dairy free, so allergy sufferers rejoice!
